夏含夷教授(Professor Edward L. Shaughnessy)1974年畢業於美國聖母大學(University of Notre Dame),獲得神學學士學位。1974-1977年間,於台北天德黌舍師從愛新覺羅毓鋆攻讀中國經學。1978年進入斯丹福大學亞洲語文系,1983年獲得博士學位。自1984年起,受聘於美國芝加哥大學東亞語言及文明系,出任教授一職;2006年成為顧立雅伉儷早期中國研究傑出貢獻教授。
夏含夷教授主要研究中國周代(約前1045 - 前249年)的文化史與文獻學,尤其當時的出土文獻,諸如西周時代的青銅器銘文與戰國時代的竹帛寫本。此外,他也精於中國經學,對《周易》、《尚書》和《詩經》均有深入研究。在夏含夷教授的學術生涯中,他一直致力於融合西方與中國學術傳統,成為溝通中西的橋樑,因此他經常有中文著作出版。

夏含夷教授(Professor Edward L. Shaughnessy)1974年畢業於美國聖母大學(University of Notre Dame),獲得神學學士學位。1974-1977年間,於台北天德黌舍師從愛新覺羅毓鋆攻讀中國經學。1978年進入斯丹福大學亞洲語文系,1983年獲得博士學位。自1984年起,受聘於美國芝加哥大學東亞語言及文明系,出任教授一職;2006年成為顧立雅伉儷早期中國研究傑出貢獻教授。
夏含夷教授主要研究中國周代(約前1045 - 前249年)的文化史與文獻學,尤其當時的出土文獻,諸如西周時代的青銅器銘文與戰國時代的竹帛寫本。此外,他也精於中國經學,對《周易》、《尚書》和《詩經》均有深入研究。在夏含夷教授的學術生涯中,他一直致力於融合西方與中國學術傳統,成為溝通中西的橋樑,因此他經常有中文著作出版。
葛兆光教授,北京大學古典文獻專業本科、研究生畢業(1982,1984),曾任北京清華大學歷史系教授(1992-2006),現任上海復旦大學文史研究院及歷史系特聘資深教授。主要研究領域是東亞與中國的宗教、思想和文化史。主要著作有《中國思想史》(兩卷本,1998,2000;韓文本,2013;英文本,2014)、《增訂本中國禪思想史——從6 世紀到10 世紀》(1995,2007)、《宅茲中國——重建有關「中國」的歷史論述》(2011;韓文本,2013;英文本,2017;日文本,2018)、《想像異域:讀李朝朝鮮燕行文獻札記》(2014)、《何為中國:疆域、族群、文化與歷史(2014;英文本,2018)、《歷史中國的內與外:有關「中國」與「周邊」概念的再澄清》(2017)等。

鄧燕華教授於香港中文大學取得博士學位,現為南京大學社會學系教授、博士生導師,主要研究政治社會學、組織社會學及環境社會學,著有專書《中國農村的環保抗爭》,學術成果發表於The China Quarterly, The China Journal, Journal of Contemporary China, Journal of Peasant Studies, Modern China, Political Studies, 《中國社會科學》、《社會學研究》以及《管理世界》等刊物。
陸敬恩教授在美國康奈爾大學取得博士學位,其後服務於不同大學,現為加拿大阿爾伯塔大學東亞研究教授及系主任。陸教授的研究領域涵蓋中國現當代文學及電影,相關著作包括The Sinophone Cinema of Hou Hsiao-hsien: Culture, Style, Voice and Motion 及 A History of Taiwan Literature (葉石濤之《臺灣文學史綱》英譯本)等。在中國文化研究所訪學期間,陸教授的研究題目為 “The Grammar of Filiality: Ritual and Reproduction in Modern Chinese Fiction and Film”。
