Studies on Southeast China Archaeology (vol. 4) is edited by Prof. Tang Chung and Prof. Wu Chunming; published by Xiamen University. Its contents include the papers presented on the Fourth International Conference on Ancient Cultures of South China and Neighboring Regions (2007) organized by the Centre for Chinese Archaeology and Art, as well as other studies on Southeast China total 42 papers. All the papers consider the Southeast Chinese culture from the views of East Asia and even the whole oceanic region of Asia, revealing the status and function of the Southeast Chinese culture in the interactive relationship between ancient China and the Asia-Pacific zone.
